📍 Location & Getting Here
Where is Shanti Nivas located?
Shanti Nivas is located in the heart of the rainforest in Pongol, Libona, Bukidnon, on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines.
How do I get to Shanti Nivas?
The easiest way is via Cagayan de Oro City. From there, the drive takes approximately one hour.
After your booking has been confirmed, we will gladly provide detailed directions or assist you in arranging transportation.
Is the access road difficult?
The final section follows a natural rural road.
During periods of heavy rainfall, access may become more challenging. We continuously improve the road to ensure safe and comfortable access for our guests.
🏡 Accommodation
Is the entire property private?
Yes.
During your stay, the entire holiday home and surrounding property are reserved exclusively for you and your companions.
How many guests can stay?
The holiday home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.
Is the Function Hall included?
No.
The Function Hall can be booked as an optional addition and offers an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and a spacious area for yoga, workshops or other activities.

Is the waterfall private?
Yes.
The waterfall is located on our property and is reserved exclusively for guests of Shanti Nivas.
Can we swim in the waterfall?
Generally, yes.
However, water levels and conditions vary depending on the season and weather. Your safety is always our highest priority.
Are there insects and wildlife?
Yes.
Shanti Nivas is located in the middle of a tropical rainforest.
You will encounter birds, butterflies and many other native species. As with any natural environment, insects are part of the ecosystem. With a little awareness, they rarely affect a relaxing stay.
📶 Comfort
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. At present, the connection is provided via LTE, and we continue to improve internet access whenever possible.
Are the bedrooms air-conditioned?
Yes.
All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Is hot water available?
Yes.
All bathrooms are fitted with hot-water showers.
What happens if there is a power outage?
Occasional power interruptions may occur in our region.
Essential services are supported by an emergency power solution, and we will always keep you informed should an interruption occur.

Is Shanti Nivas suitable for children?
Yes.
Families are very welcome.
As the property is surrounded by nature, children should always be supervised by an adult.
Are pets allowed?
This policy is currently being finalized.
Can I host an event?
Yes.
Our Function Hall is ideal for small events, workshops, retreats and private gatherings.
Weddings are also possible when booked together with the holiday home.
Are parties allowed?
No.
Shanti Nivas is a place of peace and relaxation.
Loud parties do not fit our philosophy and are therefore not permitted.
